Love the slide - I wouldn't call this a Townes cover, I think you have done a great original take on this. Well done. Makes me think a version with pedal steel in the forefront would be interesting to hear.

This is the most original cover of Dead Flowers I have heard. That slide is so fantastic it is hard to concentrate on the words or the song. That slide is from heaven. I fell in love with Ry Cooder at an early age when I heard his slide. You've got it! Thanks for mentioning Townes. I am trying to organize my site, but I have an entire section for him. Love your cover also. I don't want to forget to let you know. Fantastic talent!

Pretty different version of this great song man. Kind of a surreal mood to it. I like it though, very Bohemian. And hey, I'm the first to comment on it.
