Great thanks

Sponsored by a Nigerian Prince, run by a retired Scottish Rugby player, the same car as the previous year. It was a complete disaster, however I have more respect for Arrows than any other Grand Prix Team

I recall him kamikazing into his opponents several times.

I believe the language barrier was a major stumbling block. Tora learned the hard way that English really is the language of Formula 1. It caused a lot of problems with his mechanics because they basically had to set up his car through an interpreter, meaning they often couldn't give Tora what he wanted. A great shame because he was definitely a blue chipper in my eyes.

In 1999 there was no such regulation. It was introduced in 2001 if I remember correctly.

I'm not afraid to say that with a proper package, Tora Takagi could do similarly well to Taku Sato, if not better. Even Schumacher would struggle to pump up a satisfying time in such a junky bathtub.

In fact Takagi did an amazing job in 1998, driving the Tyrrell. He more than once qualified within the "top" 15 while his teammate Ricardo Rosset didn't even manage to qualify for the race.
