An unidentified snake, thought to be a Pygmy Rattlesnake by a Wildlife ranger, on Lot #12 at Playalinda Beach, part of the Canavaral National Seashore in Titusville, Florida. Your help in identifying this snake is appreciated - as you can see, it was not aggressive.

To let you know, I know nothing about snakes and at first glance these looked like diamonds. But they are blotches and his eye is round. The sound you hear is generally the insect sound you hear, however, it does appear the snake's tail is a greenish-yellow and odd-looking.
