Vanderbilt defensive tackle T.J. Greenstone set the school record on July 21, 2010 with a hang clean of 410 lbs. Greenstone topped the previous school record of 405 lbs., which was also held by him.

  • He looked like he could have done a set of 5. Damn, very impressive.

    And LSU does a very weird variant of the clean, but their record is only 374 lbs, D3 colleges have athletes that can beat that record.

  • @fishingrods1 he is training for football why would he use straps?

  • @IMoney40 It's a hang clean, and he's not an Olympian. Even then, they often train with straps. Why should a football player (who lifts merely to train) not use them?
