@DameofShalott The fact that they went beyond the expectation for ballet at that time was the astonishing thing. Now we can look back of types of dance such as this, but holding a knowledge of all different styles of dancing, and we can judge Isadora's choreography, but at the time, this was so profoundly different that it amazed people with it's simplicity. We break classical "rules" to bring in real expression and to make the dancing personal.
Sorry to say it but it's just too simple... Always the same movements,... I don't understand the big deal about breaking classical rules if it is just to make childlish movements with poor aesthetics.
