I get what Garcia is saying here. However, it is unheard of bigger fighters moving down weight classes to fight the champions there. Martinez needs to go up in weight and fight the guys up there. Why not Manny you say? Well Manny has reached his top weight limit. Anything above welterweight for him is suicide and would truly be unfair to Pac. Plus, I just think its obvious that Martinez wants a check since he is calling out PPV draw money fighters and no knows he has the weight advantage.

how is fighting dzinziruk, williams, cintron and pavlik the best out there!! I mean dzinziruk was untested in 37 fights, williams doesnt know wat weight to fight at whether its 140, 147, 154 or 160! Cintron was a PAPER CHUMP... And Pavlik was never impressive to me! Why doesnt martinez move up to 168 and fight froch, ward and johnson? If he wants to go down as one of the all time greats then move up and beat the best! Even bute whos not in the top 5 super middleweights wud be a good fight!

most people agree that floyd is the best boxer today. so we should ask the question what would give floyd the greatest challenge, pacquiao or martinez? i'd say martinez. the idea that he's too big is a load of hogwash. martinez is only 2 inches taller than floyd. floyd is an inch and a half taller than pacquiao.. martinez has called floyd out when floyd said he'd consider fighting at 150.. you heard that, a catchweight.. hmm floyd will fight cotto at 154 but not martinez.. chicken shit floyd?
