I have heard this tune first as a part of a kind of musical, I think it was called "Tomorrow", in the Market Theatre, maybe 1988. Does anybody remembers better than I do? Are there any registrations? I haven't found anything, so my conclusion is that the name probably was different.
Great! It's the Letterman show. I can't tell if the harmony horn part is being played by Paul Shaffer on keyboard or if Hugh has an "effect" he's using to get the harmony line. Anyone know?
