@cadetlilcookie each bale is no where near a ton. its about 100lbs. if its hay. straw is about 30-50.

I stack by hay, and the only thing i see wrong with this is how it piles it, its not a very sturdy stacking job but seems like an amazing tool

I've operated one of these.
They are amazing because of the mechanical genius that's gone into their design.
Small bales or big bales, makes gathering a one man Job.

Ok people talking about stacking by hand, i will agree that it is a good technique, however, this ranch has over 80 animals and hundreds of acres to take care of, that fact has to be taken into consideration....

I'm sure they have much better things to do than stack 125 tons of hay by hand.
