A continued study in amidol as a black and white photographic developer. Through the first half of this presentation, I include some of my thoughts on what are good and bad choices in labware. I feel this is exceedingly important, because only through serious choices in labware can you secure consistent darkroom results. There is also a third instilation in this series titled "Tray Agitation (Part III)," and it is appropriate for pyro developers as well as amidol. Meanwhile, the AZO forum on the web at michaelandpaula.com serves as a wonderful site for continued study of this material. I should also write that I took more than a year's worth of college level chemistry coursework, and many of my thoughts presented here are based on that formal foundation. Also, I am beginning a series on Pyrogallic acid developer, which is used for negatives. If you are interested in pyro, you should find these videos at least somewhat informative. Regards!
