The film is shot partly in timelapse (some 3000 single frames) and in video.

The Hjørundfjordcruise takes you from the Art Nouveau Town of Ålesund, through four other fjords before you end up in the majestic Hjørundfjord in the Northwestern part of Fjord Norway. Surrounded by what is known as the Sunnmøre Alps, with peaks rising straight from the fjord to the sky, the fjord and alpine combination is unique. Hjørundfjord lies straight between Ålesund and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Geiranger. The trip ends at Øye, with a visit to the famous historical fjord hotel of Hotel Union Øye, at the foot of the mountain Slogen.
