  • Your hips are supposed to slide a little before turning, much in the same way if ytou were to skip a stone across a pond, you hips would slide, then turn and your arm is last and acts like a whip. Take a look at tiger's swing in slow motion and you will see the hip's slide a bit first and then turn.

  • I can't find frame 57 but I can tell you it was a pure hit and she smoked it about 270 right down the middle.

  • What i wanna knw is how to hit a approach shot and land close to the pin et alone the green. For me this is the most diffcult shot and there aren't many videos tips for a 100mtr shot.

  • I have filmed 2 other videos, one on the 60-70yard shot and another one for the short pitch shot. Give those a look, hopefully they will help

  • its funny when she grabs her pants she always pulls her weight forward and then turns instead of just a turn. Just turning your hips will cause centripedal force to throw the clubhead to the outside. It generates a lot of power but causes you to pull the ball. Gotta have a weight shift of a few inches to the front first but not so far as to put the weight outside of your front foot.

  • Jodi does not do what she preaches, she moves laterally without hip turn to load her right side and then her hips rotate. Her swing is terrific, watch that and learn.

  • It's amazing to me when people make comments like "absolute nonsense" when talking about the golf swing. This girl can obviously play, and this drill helps her. It may also help others. It may not help you. Joe Dante was labeled a heretic by many, but his "Four Magic Moves" has helped many, including myself. It may not help you. There are so many ways to swing a club, but as long as you get back to the ball square with speed, you can play good golf.

  • @enterjcs absolute nonsense. Get to the top of your backswing, leave your arms and shoulders right there, relax your body and rotate the hips. You will get to your impact position without the need for any controlling at all. Nothing is controlled in a golf swing which is why it doesnt go in the hole every shot. There are tolerance levels and providing we stay within those levels we hit a good shot. The only way to stay within those levels is to rotate the hips to hit the ball...nothing else.
