In this video series, I discuss the practice of buffing on the side of your car. This was a often requested video series. I also go into detail on my technique of using the PC and the Flex to do paint correction.

  • cross hatch!

  • @chris14091975 agreed!

  • @chris14091975 Yes you must handle it with care. That's why I tell people that they should always start their machine detailing experience with the PC. Once you have mastered the PC, going to the Flex is a whole lot less of a learning curve. You will quickly catch on. The Flex in the hands of someone not properly trained is scary. With proper experience, it's a very productive tool.

  • @chris14091975 Smart decision.

  • @Junkman2000 @Junkman2000 I am merely echoing a concern YOU raisied in a previous post (I am up-to-date on your videos...) Observe your comments at 2 min 30-50 sec on your following video. How Safe is the PC 7424XP - Part 2 . You clearly say that when handling the Flex(forced rotation), you must handle with care. Oh, by the way, I ain't a novice. Being impatient doesn't make you a novice, it makes you impatient, which is why I use the fool proof tool. Flex don't seem foolproof.

  • @Junkman2000 yes, it happenned once or twice while using a regular rotary tool at the beginning of my detailling carreer, which is why i moved to a dual action tool.
