I watched the first episode of NURSE JACKIE here on YouTube, last night. For free. Sorry, Edie. I honestly hope you get paid from ShoTime distributing your show here for nothin.
In hearing the lyrics I can't help but wonder if there's some chance that he may be referring to his ex-wife (Marg Helgenberger) when refering to CBS and then the last line: "Meanwhile, come see me on TV!" Just a thought.. =)
when a cook is cooking or not, you can tell; when a painter is painting or not, you can tell; when a musician is playing or not, you can tell. HOW CAN YOU TELL WHEN AN ACTOR IS ACTING OR NOT? these "talking props" were offered the same deal as the writers and the directors, but NO! they're special! no wonder no one in the business likes them...
Brilliant. The short sighted actors following the big name actors into their own demise will understand when they have no more jobs. The only saps who have to live with a shitty contract are the rank-and-file middle-class actors. The A-list celebs could care less, except they don't want a strike because they're also producers. Alan Rosenberg is the only true liberal union man left at the offices! I support him!
Alan this is great. It's hard to rally the troops isn't it. Keep standing up for what you believe in. Standing up for what you believe in is what this country was and is made of. Rock on
Oh GAWD...what a sad sack. HE BLEW the contract negotiations MONTHS ago! He is the worst voice the union has ever had. He has hurt SAG members badly and continues to do so by going to court tomorrow. He doesn't get it. We have to get past him and move on.

VOTE NO ON NEW CONTRACT
Your SAG President says to, to 1) protect our union and 2) gain LEVERAGE.
Your image will be used for free in perpertuity, plus no more OT or meal penalties
VOTE NO to help kick out producer puppets who've infiltrated our union.
Remember, producers NEVER PLAY FAIR, ALWAYS GO BACK ON THEIR WORD & WILL NOT revisit residual issue (like DVDs 20 yrs ago).
VOTE NO ON NEW CONTRACT, IT'S UNFAIR!
VOTE NO, VOTE NO! VOTE NO!
Just a thought.. =)
