I can't tell you how much I love this series.. WHY OH WHY only 8 episodes a season! Why not like those US shows.. 24 episodes every season... There better be a Season 3 ! Gene and Alex are the best !

@djbethell That is a big difference between US and British TV production. In the Britain a tv series normally runs 6 to 8 episodes...which means, the actors can do more than one thing in a year and don't get over exposed/ occasionally a series may last 12 weeks, unless it is a soap at it goes all year round.. US tv series' seem to all last from September to May with breaks.

24 eps; that's why all US series eventually lose viewing figures. Who can be bothered to suffer 24 of anything (even 24!)? The excellence of British series is having to wait for the return with bated breath and we also know when to go out on a high instead of running everything into the ground for the almighty dollar! Art over profit!
