If you take these lyrics at face value, it seems like the huge success of Vulgar Display turned Anselmo into a narcissist with borderline delusions of grandeur. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. I think it's a brutally honest statement from a young guy who felt marginalized his whole life and suddenly became a huge star. Better that than false modesty. Pantera rules.
