Overheating between 7D vs T2i

In this video, I ran both T2i and 7D in very similar setup side to side for continuous recording for 1-1.5 hours.
Result? Well, you gotta watch it.

PLEASE NOTE that the cameras stop recording every 12minutes or so, so I had to keep pushing the button as soon as it stops recording.

Please, please keep in mind that this is just to get an idea how much T2i can record without a break until overheating warning shows up.
This is a not scientifically approved lab test.
The result of the experiment does not apply to all of the T2i and 7D out there.

@baroc00 I don't have T2i any more, but my main lenses are Zeiss 50mm 1.4 and Canon 100mm 2.0.

Since the 60d has an LCD that can be moved, do you think it could effect how quickly it over heats?

@HomieG75 i think it could. after new firmware update for 7D, though, I have not had any overheating issue.
