So right frontal lobe inhibits the rest of the brain and the left frontal lobe inhibits the right frontal lobe? If yes, this would explain why the damage to the right formal lobe causes mania and the damage to the left frontal lobe causes depression.

Bottle in front of me instead of a frontal lobotomy. The wonders of chemical reaction within the brain. I have heard people argue alcoholic beverages were part of the cornerstones of civilizations development..
Booze one of the first social medications... lobotomies are similar to leeching but without any of the real benefits such as an anticoagulant.
