vray's the best renderer.
i use sketchup before, waaay back in my college days. the quality of render is just too limited when you begin to look for more quality.

I'm architect and I recommend this render: KERKYTHEA.
It's free and created to work with Sketchup. And have an exporter plugin on Sketchup.
I've tried many renders like Vray, Podium, etc.
KERKYTHEA is the best, is quickly and is free.
400% quickly renders than vray, but with same quality.
You can find Kerkythea tutorials and textures on the site and forum.
And the grand finalle: PhotoRealistic Renders, like 3DStudio with Vray Render!!!
