SFT vs Carl Carlucci and Dona Cornell

On July 14, 2009 Students for Fair Trade http://uhfairtrade.org/ requested a meeting with the Administration and Finance. The purpose was to discuss fair food, a living wage for Aramark workers on our campus and making the University of Houston a 100% fair trade campus.

The white male who was nervously tapping his finger on the desk is Carl Carlucci, the exec V.P. for Administration and Finance. In the next office we encountered Leslie Pruski, a secretary and Dona Cornell, the UH General Counsel.

Obviously none of the UH employees care one bit about ethical food, treating food service workers like human beings or making UH into a place that values human dignity and human rights.
