  • I have alway's loved this band, from early it-bites, to present day. I was absolutely gutted when they cancelled Pontypridd muni, but I hope to catch them again.

  • I love IT BITES!

  • great drum sound / great timing has bob .

  • great drum sound

  • The Tall Ships certainly does kick ass - it is the album that got me into 'It Bites' - I cannot wait for a follow up

  • This is the studio we recorded our drums at :) Running Frog in Windsor..interesting place :P

  • Tall ships kicks ass

  • I was first made aware of this new offering from It Bites on the strength of this You Tube video. I've since bought the album and I can't stop playing it. It's utterly gorgeous. I just adore this band.

  • @chrissmalley - drums are often done last on projects like this ie. no huge studio budgets to spend months in the studio. So the songs are wirtten and rehearsed first, then recorded in small project studios (peoples front rooms\sheds etc) then drums done at the proper expensive studio in just a few days, then finished off (bass re-recorded to lock in with drums etc) back in the project studio. Much cheaper for bands with no huge record company money!

  • Good stuff. But what's with putting the drums on over the track last Bananas if you ask me. As for the F.D - J.M debate I am a big big fan of J. M.s work (the man who can't possibly ever sleep) even went all the way to Rome to see Arena gig. Had an F.D lounge gig at my place so I know a thing or too. Looking forward to the Islington gig. 'Tall Ships' really does the I.B legacy proud. Listen to 'Lights' the melody and harmonics on the chorus are classic I.B Thanks give us a wave on the 26
