After having good success with adding a small solar panel at my home I thought I would try to design and built one myself with the goal of having it near as good as a commercially purchased panel. No wood. No paint.
In PART 1 I covered project objectives and I went over the design alternatives.
In this PART 2 I cover the parts and initial frame assembly.
Filming was done with a Casio EX-S12 camera. Video editing was done with Microsoft's Movie maker.
@wtam69 I will have to see how it comes out. I would be concerned with the flex of the frame with the glass 3/32 nd's and the cost of the frame?

@VWRabbitdiesel I want to see how Fearless does his. There must be a cost effective way to do this. Mine cost $130 when done.

I am working on my sixth panel as I write this. Will post up dates on progress so check it out. I was making 13 amps from the sun today. I sure would like to break 15 amps hope I get it when I finish this sixth 90 watt panel.

Looking good. I'm almost tempted to build another one myself.
