A bit hard to tell from the video but the black pipe appears to almost angle down as it comes off the stove - not good. Also I think there's very good reasons not to install the MPD that far up the black pipe. I may be wrong but you could post the question (or search) on hearth.com (great folks). Nice stove - one of the better ones ever made. Its also recommended to keep a nice 2" thick bed of ashes at the bottom of the stove for heat retention etc - hope this helps and thx for sharing

I use sheet metal screws to hold my stove pipe together. Easy removal for cleaning every season.

i have gotten around in this house without the heater, i turn it on at night when i come home. but it can be about 8.c in the morning. about 35.f? infact when it gets to about 10 in the morning its warmer outside then in and i open the windows.
its cold here but not that cold it doesnt snow only frost.
