Karma is a concept car like many others accepting pre-orders but most of them never live out the showrooms. Please explain me how can not have a tailpipe if it is a hybrid and burns gasoline? Even so, cannot beat Tesla Roadster and the price is nearly the same. US citizens are not so sensitive to ecology matters and do not have the same preferences of the European people. A car here is not a success there and vice-versa. I’ve a Vectrix and I would like to have a Tesla…

WOW, I just can't get over how ugly this car is on the outside. Those old cars at the start of the video were so much more beautiful than this...... bug?

Well, it's your opinion and you are not alone but fortunately you belong to a minority group. For me the design of this car is simply beautiful and the cars in the beginning are just a pill of junk that represent the olden fashioned polluted approach. It’s time to change, expand consciousness and start the next generation of green thinking.

@jmap1969 Oh don't get me wrong the idea is fantastic the concept is hidious. This is far from a beautiful car. Look at the karma fisker, not it's price tag. The looks alone just might kill it. But I do understand that there is a large group of people out there that do not an eye for what is and is not beautiful to them it won't matter. Heck even the chevy volt looks leaps and bounds nicer.

Again, it a matter of taste and I donot agree. But you cannot compare such different categories. I have no doubts between Tesla Roadster and Karma Fisker, neither by performance or beauty. I will never buy cars with exhaust pipes again (not even a hybrid).

@jmap1969 @jmap1969 karma has no tailpioe and still pulls off large seating and beauty too! It can be done, why Nissan chose not to, just boggles the mind. When was the last time we saw a successful selling car that had huge bulging headlights past the flowing lines of the cars body? Ugh.
