so did nearly all democrats, u cant pin this on john mccain. And if a democratic president is in power, this bill will easily pass and that is the plan of the democratic congress. most of the dems who voted against this bill in the senate wants to wait for the democratic president and then make that president look good by passing the amnesty bill rather than president bush.

you do realize that the democrats have a much more dissapointing record when it comes to amnesty. And also that mccain and guiliani are the best candidates to win the national election. And guiliani isnt really the best guy to support if u are against illegal immigration. The fact of the matter is there are no candidates out there that are against illegal immigration that can win the nomination or the election, so its better to choose the one that lesser of two evils.
