Squirrel Invading My Feeders

This Brown Squirrel has been a recent and now returning customer to my bird feeders. He jumps to them from the fence you see him on here. The three hooks on the pole are supposed to be full but he smacked the suet feeder to the ground and tried getting that open. You will see that in my next video! and the parting shot of this video says it all... He knew I was filming him so he turned his rump to me and said there you go!

@sxasher2 Yeah there not really that bad... I just had one out here while I was eating dinner, he was up in the feeder grabbing his dinner along with me :-) thanks for stopping by and commenting..

My grandma had the same problem! The squirrels were climbing up the pole and taking the seeds and she put a wide Styrofoam cylinder around the poll and they could climb up anymore! Cute squirrel!

I have seen him twice now but have not seen how he gets on the pole yet. I will try something if he is climbing up it but if he is jumping to it I would have to move the pole and I don't want to do that. We'll see how it goes... Thanks for the tip though with your grandmas feedre :-)

What a beautiful new friend you have! I think this is a fox squirrel. They are not here on the east coast but I filmed some when I visited Missouri (Midhue channel). I find them much more friendly then the grays! Looking forward to seeing more:D

Yeah I'm not sure if he had a peanut in his paw or not. He had just come down from the feeder and climbed up on the fence so it was hard to see. I did not see him eat anything while up there. Yes I was using a tripod on this video :-)
