Prize-winning writer Russell Banks' latest novel is a twisted tale of morality and coming of age. "Lost Memory of Skin" follows a young homeless youth, known only as "The Kid", and a successful sociologist ,"The Professor". Their relationship is like a modern-day version of Jim Hawkins and Long John Silver from "Treasure Island", but much, much creepier.
