  • sounds good but only rear wheel drive and NO turbos or superchargers please.

  • Braking thermal capacity is determined much more by rotor width then by the diameter.

  • i like that idea the only thing i dont like is if other manufactures take holden or ford teams if they make their own teams i will be glued to the tv i can tell you that

  • @ItHatesYou Well thats going to change next year, all bodies will be different

  • @XTera22 The cars they use in Nascar are the exact same. If the cars were different shapes, they would have different aerodynamics and thus a great difference in the super speedway races. So the cars are different by name and graphics only.

  • @XTera22 WTF no. Exact same apart from stickers.

  • The aurion looks born to be a v8

  • I personally don't see a problem with having 'no manufacturer DNA' in the cars. I just want to see good racing, and if that means 4 of the same cars with different shells, then so be it.

  • How can you not tell the difference between a NASCAR GM car or Ford car?, they look completely different

  • It will be good to see global manufacturers participating in this V8 heaven!

As for the engines, all V8 with any displacement, free rev limit not set by rules, turbo, supercharged or naturally aspirated, as long as they all produce roughly the same power output in kilowatts.

  • I like how it says "NOT like NASCAR with no manufacturer DNA".
