AWWW! I didn't get any stickers :(

its such a great cause, i donated today, the needle hurts a bit, and you always need to look away and distract yourself. i always get very dizzy when its just about done. its scary, but it doesnt happen to everyone, and its really minor!

want to donate blood, but damn that needle is huge. ill have to face my fears and just donate.

@ubermisogynist Women who bled a lot during labor can die if they're not given - or refuse - blood transfusions.

What's ur blood type and how much did u donate?

she is good..... =O

@ubermisogynist That doesn't mean a damn thing. Just because you never met a person who needed a blood transfusion doesn't mean it isn't common. People that lose significant amounts of blood due to trauma need blood transfusion, hemophiliacs need blood transfusions, internal bleeding, people with anemia, and many more. Statistics show someone needs blood every two seconds in the U.S., 30million transfusions are done each year, and 38,000 donations are needed daily. Get the idea?

@Master11782 it's insane. think about it. you are letting a stranger *stab* you and then *bleed* you..i don't see how people can allow that without a second thought. Reminds me of that game Lemmings. The save a life argument is mute. it's one thing to donatate to save someone you know but to save strangers doesn't mean anything to me. I've never know anyone who needed blood. So it's not the common.

@stevitbone it's insane.
lol, naw. they tell you to look away, but I like to watch. the thing that hurts the most is when they clean your arm. I hate that part.
