  • I tried dark and lovely's honey blonde, it never got to color i wanted. Before you bleach his hair try Clairol Textures & Tones Permanent Moisture-Rich Haircolor, Lightest blond it is true to its color.

  • Hey thanks! I will definitely try it out before we get the bleach out LOl!.. I know just the one you are talking about. Let's hope it will work for his Jet black hair. thanks for lookin out! Apollo says 'HI!"

  • Has daddy bear decided what color to try? Excellent vid.

  • Hi Freckles!Umm we are going to try bleaching to lighten them.... his hair is JET BLACK!!.. I dunno... he really wants them to be a honey brown color. I think the bleach might turn them orange...

Time to do some testing! LOL! I didn't relized how much I said "daddybear" in the vid...LOL! thanks

  • That was the quietest I have seen daddy bear sit in like Forever. Next time if you do it again try a serious blond and let him sit for a long time. My mom had the same problem with her hair and she had to do the bleach first and then the blond color. The longer she sat with it in her hair the better the color. Good luck. If all else fails pour bleach on his ends :-)>

  • he was such a good model! LOL!

  • Whe you say his locs are jet black do you mean they were dyed black prior to bleaching? I used Creame of Nature, Ginger blonde which is similar on my virgin locs and the colour came out fine near to the box anyway. Still rocking it today since 2008...

  • @apollosmomma hi im a licensed cosmetologist in ca. first u need to bleach the ends out w bleach powder an 10 vol. developer. leave it on till u get an rusty orange color, rinse then apply the color of ur choice.

  • i tried that color it came out really...nice
