Some rusty old tractors we got for free

A lot of this is junk, but there is at least one diamond in the rough here. It was a sight unseen must-take-all kind of deal, so we went with Sterling's diesel Dodge truck and a borrowed trailer and pulled these relics out of a poison ivy filled muddy yard and brought them to tractor land. Oh yeah, and Dave got a bed liner for his Chevy for free too.

i have a 2004 craftsman 6.75 hp briggs & stratton and it burns oil. i took the head appart it check the headgasket, and some of the screws were covered in oil, does that mean the headgasket, is bad?

No, the head gasket is probably OK, sounds like it could have bad rings though. You might want to do a compression test anyway though.

their is a difference in a garden tractor and a lawnmower. a lawn mower is most of the time made by mtd and u use it for a season and then u junk it a garden tractor like that sears is built a lot heaver than a lawnmower and they are more tractor like. any one that says different is stupid.

DO NOT JUNK THAT SEARS!!!!!!!! if u fix it up it could be worth a lot of money its not made by mtd like those other ones it is made by roper. u can junk all of the mtds if u want i thank that mtds are cheap ass junk. :] save the sears
