April 15, 1990. The corner of 104 street east and Canyon road east. The driver of the truck attempted to make a right turn from Canyon onto 104th at to fast of speed. Surprisingly only the building was hit and no other vehicles hit. Only the truck driver sustained injuries. Serious ones and fortunately no fatal.

This also busts the movie myth that one can drive a semi through a building without injury or serious damage to the rig.

  • Wow! I sure hope the driver was able to get out of that one but what with the damage to the cab I don't know. Was it brake failure?

  • The driver claimed that. The WSP said excessive speed. I believe the driver had to be removed. Serious but not fatal injuries.

  • was that the engine still running?

  • No, That's another semi off camera that hauled the trailers away.

  • Wow that truck engine is still idling after the crash? Wow it must be pretty hard to take on a semi though, except the passenger part where it requires better support.

  • We have done research proving that is it very dangerous. For example, it takes much more time for a logging truck to come to a complete stop then say, a normal vehicle. The town is very small, with tons of winding roads, which therefore would make in very unsafe.

Again, we thank you for your kind words, inquires and support.

  • and people in cars are so much safer behind the wheel, what town is this?

  • Our mission and goal was to stop the logging trucks in this SPECIFIC area due to saftey hazards the trucks would cause. It would simply be very unethical to do so. We would again, like to stress that we are ok with logging, as it has much benefits but we also stand up for our human right to saftey.

We thank you for your kind words, inquires and support.

  • did you stop just the logging trucks or all the trucks? remeber if you bought it a truck brought it. i hope like hell someone someday mess's with your job and makes it harder. what the hell do you know about driving truck? nothing thats what! your victory will be short lived

  • Meh thats ok. We won this anyways.

Thank you so much for your continuous loving support!

  • lady get over yourself, you are singaling out logging trucks and hiding your enviromental beliefs behind the logging trucks. drop dead bitch

  • We could move your town away from the HWY to a valley, or better ghetto place

  • Thanks for the info!
