  • well, i believe you! ;-)

  • To see further information look at her version of I'm coming out at Newcastle.

Due to technical faults the prerecorded vocal didn't play, she had to sing it fully live and you can really hear the difference in her voice here.

This concert had all the songs she can't do live removed eg chain reaction, etc

  • Cleverly what happens on stage is that for example the last sections of Chain Reaction (after the drum solo where she often says sing along during the part Backing vocals do "we talk about love" etc) and The Boss she sings fully live from the high ohh ohh bit to the end of the song but before this it's the pre recorded guide vocal.

Please don't make personal comments against me as I'm only pointing out what happens to be fully correct.

Just compare the vocals on you tube for recent concerts.

  • The tracks for the live concerts have large string horn and synth parts which 5 band members can't play on stage. She uses pre recorded tracks for ALL song, some of these track have the pre recorded lead vocals and also backing vocals. Her band only proviedes additional Drums, Bass and piano, and some guitar sections.

Fred and Val do limited backing vocals as some of these are also recorded.

On Ain't no mountain high enough where do you think the large orchestral and vocal choirs come from?

  • Hello there. Diana Ross desiced in 2006 to record vocals to a number of songs. These songs are I'm Coming Out chain Reaction The Boss Come See About Me What About Love More Today than Yesterday. On these songs she does not sing live- i can guarantee this infromation. Why do you think these songs sound all the same during the last 3 years? She is not singing them live (she does sing but the volume on her mic is so low you don't really hear her live voice)
  • @ mrmagicmoment:

hello there! i saw diana live in 2007 and i´m sure that she used the guide vocal on "what about love", because it had the completely identical sound like the cd-version!

by the way, some instruments where recorded too....thats really sure.

so, i dont think, that kollydoff tells lies in here.

i heard that from others too.

miss ross isn´t a saint, dont forget that! ;-)

  • Diana Ross belts these songs out nowadays she has retain a most of her skills and has become stronger in many ways... I'm coming out, Chain Reaction

And some clown is going around the internet say that she is not singing these songs live anymore ... he is actually trying to get fans to believe that this Diana Ross Lip syncing to a live recording of Diana Ross singing Live.. Weird huh

  • why don't you stop telling that lie you are making that shit up! LOL

  • This is Diana Ross using a guide vocal. She used these guide vocals on 4 or 5 songs at each concert.

I'm coming out, chain reactiom, the boss, what about love and she used them to help her. You can hear her singing fully live at newcastle on i'm coming out because there was a fault and the guide vocals didnt play. she does sing along with these songs but her mic is so low you really cant hear her own voice above the guide vocal!

  • Whomever said that Diana Ross doesn't have powerful voice would have been proven wrong at this concert. She's really belting here, and it sounds great!
