  • Even though this may seem very avant-garde, at least for 1950, a closer inspection reveals that it is essential blowing over the changes (chord progress) of the pop tune "Fine And Dandy." Brilliant nevertheless.

  • Guys in that era knew how to get the best solos in with very little space. Great change playing by everybody.

  • I greatly enjoyed this ,thank you.

Would you consider that the short time of 78 tracks makes it worthwhile posting the reverse side of the disc. I would love to have also heard "No Figs" by Lennie Tristano.

    Great photos!

  • That you know that it's based on Fine and Dandy and that your username is FatsBlows, gives a hint that you must be a really smart person!

  • 贅沢というよりよくもこんなメンバーを集めたもんですね。正に夢の競演ですね。
