Rob describes the first of his hand saw offerings, the dovetail saw. After teaching thousands of folks to cut dovetails by hand, Rob has tailored a saw to address the most common problems. With the intent to enable woodworkers to assemble their dovetails straight from the saw this may very well be the missing link!

  • The set is .002 per side and the face angle of the small starter teeth is 14, the larger teeth 0.

  • You have tried it and it didint work or are you making a judgement call from a safe distance?

  • Need to read a bit more, saws are $295.00.

  • ahhhhh we did pretty well without your saw... So it's a Stupid American saw you're selling right?

  • @lucydiamonds7 eastern maple and other harder woods eat japanese saw teeth as do knots.. they are only good for medium to soft woods.. good western saws will last a lifetime japanese saws will not so the value is there.. I won't even mention sharpening a japanese saw properly, it's a much steeper learning curve if you master it at all hence the "replacement blades"

  • hello mr. Cosman am a big fan of their knowledge and skills, but has little time to follow his site would be extraordinary to include subtitles in Spanish as the language I speak and I'm sure there are many fans in the world who speak the same language thousand thanks for your videos. and greetings

  • Hi rob

Could u please tell me the set and face angles of the teeth.

    Cheerss

  • @7199715 Get an old spear and jackson at a car boot for £2 or on ebay for about £10 and see just how well they work. Some are over 100 years old and still have a few decades worth of cutting left...

  • The cost is just ridiculous. Jap dovetail saws are just as good and way cheaper.

  • your saw are nice yes but there way over price same saw on lee nelsons webiste for 100 bucks not some redickuless 695 wont even think about buying your saw thx for the wasted 5 minutes
