TIME LAPSE photography of an installation of two central air units.
I DO NOT own the background music.
1. Cut existing ductwork to allow the coil to fit in. Connect drain lines and coolant lines with an acetylene torch.
2. Place unit outside following manufacturer recommendations.
3. Connect coolant lines to unit and power with fuse and disconnect.
4. Charge with special equipment.

  • Why in the hell are the guys faces blurred? Are they on Americas most wanted or something?

  • @jcb1972 I hired out the job to a contractor. I didn't want to post faces without permission. I wish I could have done the job myself, but I would have to go through a large learning curve and buy special equipment if i wanted to do the whole job myself. Also, warranties would become void.

  • not very detailed. no mention of when to use high concentration silver solder vs regular silver solder, which copper lines to use, how much insulation value over the lineset, duct sizing/air velocity, calculating heat loss, etc!

  • @MovingUpp This is only one video of many that a person would have to watch to actually correctly install a central air unit. Unfortunately, a maximum video length of 10 minutes on YouTube is no substitute for hundred hours of training and experience. Maybe I'll put "Time Lapse" in the title of the video. It's already in the description.
