tv b-gone is for people who just want to quickly walk, turn off, and walk away. covert clicker is for people who want to mute, change channels, raise or lower volume, and turn tvs off. lol. i changed a tv at a school to the home and garden channel

Tv-B-Gone cycles through lots of frequencies of commonly known (and lesser known) tv brands. So yes, it can turn off any tv as long as it uses IR to connect with a remote.

yes, i believe it can! try to get one as powerful as possible, and make sure you have enough battery power for longer lasting fun.. cheers, rod

didn't say it was gonna be impressive, but 17 is still better than none, right? it would have worked a lot better with more emitters linked together. still fun, though =)
