  • hey,

what make of banos do you two play? do you ever play out? so good!

  • Maggie plays a gibson tenor transformed into a 5 string. Molly plays a Ramsey. We use the 1991 edition of The Sacred Harp.

  • From an old Sacred Harp singer. You girls really did a great job, singing the notes, playing the banjos and singing the old song. LOVE IT!!

  • y'all are just plain beautiful. i LOVE how the banjos play the different harmonies. I have to go to a singing one of these days.. i'm fascinated by the sound.

  • Unbelievably Good.

  • @Sadhbhishness Check out their rendition of 230, Converting Grace. Beautiful!

  • Wow, I love this. I sing shape note in Cork city, Ireland, and I can't wait to show this to the people I sing with... Very beautiful.

  • Why don't you have a multi-million dollar recording contract yet?

At the very least, do you have a website where I could buy CDs?

  • Only one minor thing--I like the way the Sacred Harp does the rhythm on "praise God." There's a dotted rhythm on "praise" that I think is really cool. Here, you've switched it to two notes on "God." I'd be happy if you'd put it back the way it is in SH because I think that way is musically more interesting. Overall, though, great, and I enjoy your music!

  • Please make a CD. I'd buy it.
