  • The steelheader has a lot of options but it starts at $1850. East coast dealer is driftawayoutfitters. If there was a wal-mart boat on that river it would be in pieces at the end of the float.

  • The Whitewater Fabrication boat is made of aluminum and is wider and I don't hit my knees when I row . looked at the skookum but the frame is galvanized electrical conduit. way over priced for what you get.

  • I recon it comes down to the 80/20 principle. 80% of the fun for 20% of the cost. Check out BestBoatingStore

  • can you use these at sea?

  • I purchased a similar quality steel framed 12' er deluxe; and im a soft midwestern steelheader trying to up my bravery on lively water; its good to see it bouncing around so safely in stuff that would tip a canoe in a second. Makes me think that even a novice has an extra margin of error with these......

  • did the rock will puncture the float or not ? some rock are sharp .

  • Jimriggins is right, that is a Skookum Steelheader and I own one, new, decked out it will cost you just shy of $2K. Amazing cataraft, not a pontoon boat! As calm as that water looks it would bend the frame of a Walmart special pontoon boat. You really do get what you pay for I would not trust my life to a cheapo pontoon boat.

  • I have the 9' broncofrom bucs bags. there is a HUGE difference between the cheap and the good ones

  • haha yea there only 170 dollars cuz its an inflateable one
