  • I just watched the different video clips of The Browns singing this, through the years. They still sound amazingly...and look great as well! How nice that they are still performing together. I have always loved this song, as well...even though I wasn't born until 1960 myself. It has always brought a tear to my eye, as well. Watching this video was no different...very moving!

  • wow honestly this is true singing, so natural nd beautiful.. im only 15 nd i think this is how evryone should learn how to sing :) i love itt !

  • @benoni45 I c your point, but this no good mangy flea bitten sonofagun destroyed an immaculate record of 400 to nothing. so no excuses, it's a hanging offense!!

  • @nitelad ....always possible it was done inadvertently! Once done it can't be retracted, you can only balance it out by clicking a 'thumbs-up'! I know from experience, having done it myself! It's a sickening moment, but you can do little about it! Let's give the guy the benefit of the doubt!

  • @eagleaerie5 "For some reason..." With good reason. It sounds better coming from much older singers-- at the time they sang it originally, they were practically kids; as talented as they were, it was a case of sing-what-you've-lived, and while The Three Bells is a beautiful song and they did it no harm, certainly, they hadn't lived a long and happy life as had "Little Jimmy Brown," JEB's namesake, and the feeling wasn't going to be the same.

  • When I was a teen I was a Nanny for 3 little boys. One was named Jimmy Brown. Everytime I hear this song I think of him. Love the song. Loved little Jimmy.

  • i saw them as they sang this song at the grand old operay im pretty sure it was filmed oct 2005 it gives me goosebumps

  • @alexander0403100 Are you serious? Yes, that was his name. Maybe if you took a moment and opened your phonebook, you might find several there too. Dumb....

  • Whoever thumbed it down needs to be found and fined big time, seriously!

  • My Grandpa died in 1959, just as this song came out. I always think of Pa when I hear this beautiful song.

  • @Susanna129 i agree
