A Lifetime Women's Pulse Poll finds that One in three women feel they are personally at risk for heart disease but few acknowledge their personal risk. Risk factors for heart disease include cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, inactivity, weight and smoking. Many women experience a great deal of stress or even depression which can lead to increased weight gain, increased triglycerides, blood pressure and diabetes. OhioHealth offers women living well programs to address these and other issues related to heart disease.
