Globetrotter XL Absolutely WRECKED - Insane Score: 25,862

This is a video of me, Tasselfoot, absolutely wrecking the game Globetrotter XL. Think Where On Earth, only much harder. In WOE there are maybe 40 or so locations to know across 15 countries. In Globetrotter, there has to be 200+ cities in at least 50 countries. The game has 10 levels, starting with 3 locations and increasing by 1 per level. It also takes more and more points to advance each level.

Overall, if you beat the game, you'll place 75 locations. To get a 3x bonus, you have to be within 225km (about 5mm on the screen). To get a 5x bonus, you have to be within 51km (about 1, maybe 2, pixels). In this run, I get 31 3x and 27 5x markers, including 4 0 kms.

I did get extremely lucky with the locations... very few in central or random Africa, only a few random ex-Soviet Union countries, and very few Argentina/Brazil locations. To me, those are the really tough ones. I did make a few dumb mistakes in this run, but I also had a few really nice saves... where I couldn't remember where something went, then quickly did and wound up getting a 3x or 5x out of it.

I highly recommend you guys play this game. It's really fun. And I challenge each and every one of you guys to try and beat my score. I think you'll appreciate how insane it is if you try.

highest legit scores i know of are in the 34k range... 2 guys played this game on Kongregate for probably 20-30 hours. my best is just shy of 30k, 29,872. and that was after 10+ hours of memorization.

How on earth do you know every location from Galway to Sofia? Is it just insane practice or did you swallow an atlas?
