When it comes to any classic car,bolt on whatever u like,paint it however u want,just don't start hacking away at its body

To me,classics are a rare gift to have in one's possession & if treated with respect,will still be around for future car lovers

I personally see myself as the caretaker of a classic (when I have one) knowing that its only mine temporarily,restoring what I can & only selling it to one who doesn't wish to molester it

From what I can see,you've adhered to keeping this car true

@the26thhour Thanks for the input. This car has more original german parts on it than most all the other beetles you will see. The main mods are the custom wheels, paint and a fast engine. Was built by a shop owner, so he knows his stuff.

to all the haters, obviously you got no 1954 oval so dont hate coz u got none! i got a 1960 bug, 1954 is even more rare so whatever color and size rims he got he got a classic car that is painted the way he wanted and a rim that he paid for. so STFU!

@nswiss1975 Actually..... If you are referring to Adolf Hitler as the "Nazi Creator" of Volkswagens, your statement is incorrect. Hitler hired Dr. Ferdinand Porsche to design the Volkswagen. (That's right.... the same guy that later built the Porsche company building sports cars. So.... Hitler is NOT the Volkswagen's creator. He just facilitated it. "Volkswagen" is translated as "People's Car". Hitler wanted an affordable car for the people of Germany. He probably WILL burn in Hell though.
