Workers occupying the Vestas wind turbine factory on the Isle of Wight scored a victory when magistrates rejected the company's attempt to secure an eviction order. Bob Crow joined workers and supporters at the factory gate to encourage them in their struggle with a rousing speech.
The company were eventually awarded the court order on August 4. However, the workers remain in occupation and the struggle continues to save their workplace from closure, both inside and outside the factory gates.
