What if there has been infidelity on both sides, (woman a little more extreme), can a marriage still be saved? Should it be saved? Is there any hope when something like this devestates a committed relaitonship? what are your thoughts? Thank you

@tochimpara Yes, such a marriage can be saved if both people really want to, and truly, deeply commit to never be untrue again, never lie again, never cheat again on each other. Couples therapy can help to get at the underlying problems. If someone cheats again, after such an agreement, then there is little hope.

They seek constant reinforcement of their self worth and men do not always sense this need. thus once lack of it is obtained they seek it elsewhere. Fast food, instant satisfaction and the grass is always greener on the other side. But normally once there they realize it is not greener and not better and not more loving then what they once had. but they continue to seek and find they are wrong. Why?

Since you, as you state, are not spiritually oriented, it would be hard for you to understand what that hunger is inside that nothing can ever satisfy except God. You have good insights into women needing reinforcement, but you don't yet get why they can't find it in a man.

Yet I can see no real connection between to two that exist unless one creates the connect themselves. It only exist if you wish it to be so. But by way of nature it does not exist how could it. Thus excluding one's religious or non religious belief system, the female going outside of the relationship is the same. It is without question wrong by man's laws, common morality or possibly by ones religious beliefs as well. So why do they do it? I say to prove something to themselves. But what?

I agree with you that cheating is wrong by human standards too, with or with a God. The point though is that we each are souls, and within our souls is a hunger that can only be satisfied by relationship with God. Until we know that that is what it is, we keep looking outside ourselves for completion.

Women are somewhat more sensitive to their feelings, and often feel that yearning more than men. They then go looking for it in a relationship, missing the point that no human relationship is going to fill that need inside.

Not all women and men cheat but a lot do. So many women cheat it's unreal. They do it for fun and because it's so easy for them to do it. They are totally righteous about it too. A lot of them enjoy breaking a guys heart, it's a power trip for them. It makes them feel alive to hurt somebody and improves their self-confidence.

Men and women cheat because of opportunity. Opportunity in this sense means the opportunity to do it and not get caught.

Women do not get caught because..

They control the other guy so they can plan it better.

They are better liars by nature...

They are righteous in their cheating.

They can find opportunities more safely.

They cheat guiltlessly.

They love shallowly, but don't know it.

Frozen, callous place ... yes that's where my wife is now ... I loved her unconditionally for 25 years when she dropped the "I love you, but I am not in love with you anymore" Bomb ... only to find out a few months later that she had been cheating on me. I trusted her with my heart, my life ... this has devastated me and left me knowing that I will spend the rest of my life alone because I will never trust again ...

Let the human body do what it is meant for. . . having sex. Let the soul do what it is meant for . . . connecting with God. This is a great concept. Either you cheat on your partner, or you cheat your animal nature. Both are cheating on someone. Now, find a balance

Men! Stop hurting yourselves over one woman and go look for another. Noone is perffect, be it emotionally, moreally, or physically. Once you are at peace with tis concept, your live becomes full of joy.

Who needs those deeper levels of love anyway? The more we get attached to these deeper levels of love, the more heart-broken we will be some day.

Females lie about why they cheat, hiding behind--and parroting--the so-called 'research' that females have sex for emotional reasons or for love. Bolony! It's all an act. When fems are around average guys whom they know that one-day they'll have to settle for, then, yes, they put on the emotion/love act when it comes to sex. When they are around good looking studs they (females) go nuts, sexually, and act like 18 year old sailors on shore leave in a Bangkok cathouse! It's simple: females lie.
