A miniature gem combining a singable melody in the "russian" style, piano writting alla Rachmaninoff, a lot of "hidden voices" and interplay in Katsaris' style, intimate yet light, I present my favorite encore piece, "Goodbye mr. Rachmaninoff" by Cyprien Katsaris.

  • dude u are freaking awesome, any chance u will do other Katsaris's work?

  • Thanks!

Yes I plan to do 2 or 3 more of Katsari's "Pour le jeneuse" set. Actually I think there are no other published scores of his works.

  • It sounds like a part of "The Seasons" of Tchaikovsky..

  • Yes it does!

  • At the begining sounds Russian because Tchaikovsky. Then you hear at 1:08 Rach vocalise, then 1:30 Rach piano concerto 2,3, then you hear all sort of mixed rachmaninof music...basicly Rach harmonic language. 2th sonata, etudes, elegy, ...

At 3:27 its interesting because thee is music moment b minor :)!

  • yea i think u are right, only some other dude wrote down the Mozartina and the Bach Badingne

  • I was expecting a a cocktail waitress ask to refresh my martini after this one...
