¿De que tamaño debe ser el macho y que tamaño la hembra para la reproducción?

Yo tengo una hembra de 2.5 c.m algo asi y un macho de 4 c.m

¿Esta bien el tamaño?

@Missippis1 at least 3 cm is my preference though they'll let you know. I usually wait to see if its a pair I want to breed so wait for the fins and color to settle.

i thought these fish will kill each other if left together, is that just a myth? or does that behaviour not start until they mature?

@i11m4t1k It kicks in once they begin to mature - you pull out the aggressive ones as they show up.

That's a nice spawning you got there! I once bred my bettas, and I couldn't raise my fry to the size you have them here.  A lot of them were stunted and many died small. How did you get them to grow so healthy and big in a 10 gallon tank? Did you feed them a lot? Live food? Water changes? What's your secret?
