I took a tour here back in 07 and was really impressed. This is a neat area about 2 or 3 miles to the south there's a smiley face water tower which can be seen from Lucy the Elephant.

I remember seeing this when I was a kid on a family vacation to NJ. My mother told me that it had been a hotel, which, while being a popular story, is not true.

My boyfriend's father is a Margate fire fighter. He said he gets so many false calls to Lucy the Elephant.

I have and Lucy tee-shirt. 50 years ago I found a nickel buried near Lucy's right leg.

saw Lucy on my way down to wildwood...it was pretty cool. no complaints

my great uncle is the man who built Lucy! James V Lafferty!!! Lucy was not repaired till after 1977. My family went up there that summer and took pictures with us kids infront of Lucy! I have been up several times since, last time was in June of 2005 and she looks great!
