omg! thank you so much! Now I see why my nails used to break so easily! I use a metal nail filer!!!!!! I just threw it away as soon as you said to ahahah. Gosh! I've been struggling with brittle nails and now I know why. I'm pissed lmao

You should never file the sides of your nails because it can damage them bardly and cause them to break. I know from my own experience.
