No a few of the series writers and a few others are helping with the remake the highlander story was sold to the new company meaning what ever they write is the new highlander story and the new canon and there going to try and write so theres no more different universes davis is helping but thats it. but most fans say that thers panzer productions universe and this one.

@connor2dap Most fans agree the continuity in Highlander doesn't make sense. Thus why the assumption of multiple universes, because of said inconsistencies. The remake on its own is a different universe by default, so its all OK, and nothing to be worked about.

actually you wrong davis panzer productions sold the wrights to highlander to the people who are doing the remake which will be shit which also means all the stories thats been are non canon the remake is suppost to be made in a way so theres no more different universe but most fans just say theres davis panzers highlander and this remake but since its a different companys universe it isnt part of the davis panzer universe which makes it a completely different world

@connor2dap No, thats not how it works. The Series universe just won't be the main continuity anymore. The remake and its subsidiaries will be.

Also, Panzer died three years ago. And Davis as sure as hell didn't sell any rights to anyone. He's working with collaboration with Summit Entertainment.

but when the remake comes out all these different uinverses will become non canon although that depends on how the film will be and its probaly going to be crap if you read the script like i did then you know what im talking about and the fans will still call christopher lambert the true highlander and the origianal highlander film the true canon story

@connor2dap No, the remake will just be another alternate universe.

The difference is, the other universes won't become so much as nill, as much as be seen as "done stories". The universe that will start with the remake will, hopefully, create new stories based on that film's Highlander.

The only Highlander movie is Highlander I. With Sean Connery and Queen´s music. With the begin and end in the same movie. Highlander II, III and IV was nonsense

@IamConnorMacLeod So I guess that means nobody is worried that the company that bought the rights for the franchise initially hired IRON MAN writers to write the script but then changed with the writer that only has the Twilight series in the resume, huh ? Yeah, I wouldn't worry at all... Wonder if Connor will spark during the quickening...

At first i didn't know that movies excited and people were saying under the series that duncan is not the right highlander caz he killed Connor, and i foolyshly argued them ...Now i saw the movies ( well 2,3 did not make sense ) and i see why he had to kill Connor . But as we saw on Duncans face he will always live on in Duncan.

If they start a new series I only hope it has Methos in it besides in ENDGAME Duncan, CONNOR's STUDENT and clansmen, took Conner's head because Connor made him! so that Duncan would be more powerful! END GAME! End of story!
