Until they called me into the room I looked into my newborn brother's eyes

I can't tell where the ocean meets the sky the sunlight plays upon the waves

We spend our time building castles by the sea and watch the tide sweep it all away

Somehow I know that this is not the end I'm sure I'll play another part


If there were no endings and beginnings were all we knew

The in-betweens would never play a part and the stories would be few

If there were no sorrows and sadness had no part

All we'd have is an empty joy and beauty without heart
